What is a bucket that and why the hell should I have a bucket?
Pretty valid question. First of all, yes, it is true. “Bucket” means something like pail or pot. And the German name "Fischerhut" doesn't bode well either. Behind the many, admittedly bizarre, names is a pretty cool accessory that has proven its right to exist in fashion more than once.
The simple hat actually has its origins from fishermen and farmers who wanted to protect themselves from wind and weather. And with a lot of imagination, the shape also resembles that of a bucket. But anyone who now thinks that this design is completely overrated is seriously underestimating the good old bucket hat.
Hats off! Because the Buckethat has it all! His past is indeed steeped in history. Be it in the 60s, 90s or today - at regular intervals he manages to shine on the big catwalks, such as Gucci or Prada. One thing is certain, the Buckethat is no longer a simple all-weather hat. But this property should not be underestimated either! Because whether as a cute sun hat, as stylish rain protection, or as a fluffy winter accessory, the bucket hat has become an integral part of fashion!
